Can’t fault the service or the wonderful ciabatta filled breakfast roll that they had on the menu. Delicious. Very quiet, but then it is early Tuesday morning.....

So good we went here twice. Beautiful views. Stopped for afternoon coffee and cake and then went back the next day for lunch. Both times were excellent, looked very popular with the locals. If busy, you may have a little wait for service.

The cafe is located in the garden centre. I ordered a chicken and rice soup which was very nice with plenty of chicken. A grilled chicken and cheese burger with mixed salad. The cheese was nice and strong and the burger had a nice large beef tomato on it. A mixed berry smoothie that was very tangy and refreshing. A mint slice that had a good mix of chocolate and mint. And finally a dark mocha with a nice design on the foam. The whole meal was very nice and I would certainly come back again.

Some time you find a little eden on your road. A place ticking all the boxes. Poppies is one of my favorite. I visit some time family in Scotland, and the service is most of the time good. I am living in South Africa and the service could be very good. Poppies is very very good: calm and friendly crew, perfect breakfast food. And most important for me: the coffee! Addictive on the morning. Thank you Poppies people for this wonderful break time. It is sincerely appreciate.
